The Crochet Pattern

First Part: Foundation Round & Round 1

  1. Use 2 mm thread and a 3.5 mm crochet hook.
  2. Magic Ring: Make a magic ring (MR).

  7. Chain 5.

  10. Join the round by making a slip stitch (sl st) into the third chain of the initial chain 3.

Second Part: Row 2

  1. Chain 1.
  2. In the first chain space (created by the chain 5 from the previous round), make 1 single crochet (sc).
  3. Skip the next space or stitch.
  4. In the following chain space, make 1 single crochet (sc).
  5. In the chain 5 space (where chains were made), make 3 single crochet stitches.

  9. Skip the next space.
  10. Make 1 single crochet in the following space.
  11. In the chain 5 space again, make 3 single crochet stitches.

  14. Repeat the above pattern five times in total.
  15. Join the round with a slip stitch.

Finishing First Piece

  1. After completing Row 2, cut the thread leaving a slightly long tail for sewing.
  2. The first part is complete.

Creating the Second Part

  1. Repeat the exact process described above for the second piece.

Assembly

  1. Take both parts.
    Save
  2. Align them properly.
  3. Using the remaining thread tails, sew the two pieces together carefully so the edges meet evenly.
