Materials Needed:
- 4 ply cotton yarn in black, green, red, and white colors
- 3 mm crochet hook

Granny Squares:
Start with Black Color:
- Create a magic ring.
- Chain 3 (counts as a double crochet).
- Work 2 double crochets into the ring.
- Chain 3.
- (Work 3 double crochets into the ring, chain 3) repeat two more times.
- Pull the magic ring closed.
- Slip stitch into the top of the starting chain 3 to close the round.
Second Round (Still Black Color):
