  • Round 3: (Sc, inc) repeat 6 times for a total of 18 stitches.
  • Round 4: (Sc in next, inc) repeat 6 times for a total of 24 stitches.
  • Round 5: (Sc in next 2, inc) repeat 6 times for a total of 30 stitches.

Constant Rounds

  • Rounds 6-8: Sc in each stitch around for a total of 30 sc in each round.

Shaping the Hat

  • Round 9: Sc in next 9 stitches, inc in next, then (sc, inc) repeat 4 times; sc in the last 10 stitches.
  • Rounds 10-11: Sc in each stitch around for a total of 36 sc in each round.

Decrease Rounds

  • Round 12: (Sc in next 4, dec) repeat 5 times for a total of 30 stitches.
  • Round 13-15: Continue as described in the pattern, progressively decreasing the number of stitches between decreases.

Shaping the Neck and Shoulders

  • Round 16: Continue shaping the doll following the instructions, which include more decreases.
