Materials

  • Black, orange, white, and blue plush yarn
  • Cotton yarn
  • Scissors
  • Plastic eyes (10 mm) on a safety plug
  • Crochet hook (size 4mm)
  • Marker
  • Needle
  • White and durable thread (similar to main color)
  • Plastic nose (14-18 mm) or cotton yarn for embroidery
  • Fiberfill

Pattern Steps

1 Save

Arms (make 2):

  • With white, create a magic ring, crochet 6 SC, close ring.
  • R2: 1 SC in each, change to main color.
  • R3-7: Continue with 1 SC in each.
  • Fold, crochet through both sides to close, finish off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Tail:

  • Start with white, 6 SC in magic ring.
  • Switch colors every round (white, main, black), maintaining 6 SC per round.
  • After several color changes, fold the tail, and slip stitch sides together.

2 Save

Legs (make 2):

  • Use white, 5 SC in a magic ring.
  • R2: Increase in each stitch (10 SC total).
  • R3-7: SC in each stitch.
  • Finish one leg with a slip stitch, continue to the body with the second leg without cutting yarn.

Body:

  • Join legs together with chains and SC along the legs and chains.
  • Work several rounds with SC, adding the tail and then the arms by crocheting them together with the body.
  • Start reducing stitches to shape the torso leading into the head.

Head:

3 Save

Continue from the body, start increasing for head shaping.

  • Add eyes, nose and stuff head as you go.
  • Decrease towards top of head, finishing with a closed round.

Ears (make 2):

  • Create with main color, starting with a magic ring.
  • 6 SC in ring, change to black.
  • Turn, SC in each stitch, finishing with a slip stitch.

Muzzle:

  • With white yarn, 6 SC in a magic ring.
  • Increase each round, shape into a muzzle, add a plastic nose or embroider one, and sew onto the head.

4 Save

Finishing Touches:

  • Add stripes with black yarn by sewing lengths to create patterns on the body, legs, and head.
  • Sew on ears, and embroider any additional details such as eyebrows or facial features.
  • Optionally, add a ribbon or any other accessories.

Assemble your tiger: Sew all parts together following the video guide or your preference, making sure to align the features symmetrically. Stuff the parts firmly before sewing for a better shape.
