Crochet Granny Square Slippers are a fun and colorful way to keep your feet cozy! Using yarns of different colors, you crochet small squares called "granny squares," which are then cleverly folded and sewn together to form delightful slippers. Whether you're relaxing at home or need something warm for a chilly evening, these slippers are perfect.

Materials Needed:
- Yarns in 5 different colors (acrylic, cotton, woolen, or a mix, depending on your preference). In this project, acrylic yarn was used.
- 3 mm crochet hook.
- Yarn needle.
- Stitch marker.
Slipper Pattern:
Start with a Magic Ring:
- Chain 3 (counts as the first double crochet).
- Make 2 more double crochets into the ring.
- Chain 2 to create your first corner.
- Make 3 double crochets into the ring.
- Repeat the corner creation (chain 2) and 3 double crochets 2 more times.
- Chain 2 and join with a slip stitch to the top of the initial chain 3.
Next Rows:
- Change yarn color as desired for each row.
- Begin each new row in any corner.
- In each corner space: Make 3 double crochet, chain 2, and make another 3 double crochet in the same space.
- For spaces between corners: Make 3 double crochet without adding any chains between these groups (blocks).
- Close each row with a slip stitch and cut the yarn.
Repeat: Continue adding rows by repeating the process outlined in step 2, changing colors as desired, until you have a total of 15 rows (or adjust the number of rows based on the foot size).
Assembly:
Finish the Granny Square: Ensure all yarn ends are woven in and trimmed.
Sewing to Form Slipper:
- Fold the square from a corner to give it a "sock" shape.
- Count 5 blocks from one of the corners along the edge, place a stitch marker.
- Sew from one side to the marker, only picking up the back loops of the stitches for a neater seam.
- Bind off and weave in the ends.
Toe Section:
- Leave the last 3 blocks unjoined; this will form the toe section.
- Fold and sew the tip to close it off, shaping the front of the slipper.
Note:
- The pattern accommodates sizes 37 and 38. Adjust the size by increasing or reducing the number of rows in your square based on your foot size.
- Always make sure to count your stitches to ensure symmetry on both slippers.
