  • 2. Round 1 (RS): Ch 3, dc in next 5 ch, *dc in next ch, ch 1, sk next ch; repeat from * 3 times, *dc in next 6 ch, dc in next ch, ch 1, sk next ch; repeat from * 3 times, repeat from * around, slst to 3rd ch of ch 3. -81 dc, 27 ch-spaces.
  • 3. Round 2: Ch 3, sk 1st st, dc in next 5 dc, *dc in next dc, ch 1, sk next ch-space; repeat from * 3 times, *dc in next 6 dc, dc in next dc, ch 1, sk next ch-space; repeat from * 3 times, repeat from * around, slst to 3rd ch of ch 3.
  • 4. Round 3: Repeat Round 2.
  • 5. Round 4: Ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1), skip 1st two sts, dc in next dc, *ch 1, skip next dc; repeat from * 2 times, dc in next 6 st, *dc in next dc, ch 1, skip next dc; repeat from * 3 times, repeat from * around, slst to 3rd ch of ch 4.

  • 11. Round 16 (Last Round – Top Border): Ch 1, sc in same st, sc in each st around, slst to 1st sc.

12. Note: Sc in each dc and each ch-space.

  • 13. Fasten off and weave in the tail ends. 

Bottom Border (On RS):

Join yarn at the bottom chain on RS opposite the slip knot, ch 1, sc in same st, sc in each st around, slst to 1st sc. Fasten off and weave in tail ends.
