 Supplies Needed:

  • Three-ply anchor marize thread
  • Crochet hook size 1.25 mm
  • Stuffer
  • Pliers set
  • Normal needle
  • Earring hook (or any normal hook if these are not available)
  • Small size beads, crystal beads, and a chain for hanging
  • Stiffener and fabric glue
  • Scissors

Pattern Instructions:

Small Leaf Pattern:

  • Start with an off-white shade of thread.
  • Create a slip knot and chain 11.
  • Skip the first chain stitch.
  • In the second chain, make a slip stitch.
  • Continue with one single crochet, one half-double crochet, and four double crochets.
  • Work one single crochet, half-double crochet, and three single crochets into the last stitch.
  • Turn the work and repeat the pattern on the other side, ensuring you secure the working yarn underneath the stitches as you go.
  • Finish the leaf by working a slip stitch into the first stitch where you started, then cut and secure the thread.

Medium Leaf Pattern:

  • Choose a grey shade of thread.
  • Make a slip knot and chain 14.
  • Skip the first chain and begin with a slip stitch in the second chain.
  • Follow with a single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, and three extended double crochets.
  • Work one double crochet, one half-double crochet, and three single crochets in the last stitch.
  • Mirror the pattern on the other side, finishing with a slip stitch in the first chain.

Large Leaf Pattern:

  • Use a black shade of thread.
  • Create a slip knot and chain 17.
  • Skip the first chain and start with a slip stitch in the second chain.
  • Continue with single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, three extended double crochets, two triple crochets, and four single crochets.
  • Work in three single crochets into the last stitch.
  • Repeat the pattern on the other side and finish with a slip stitch as before.

Assembly:

  • Stiffen the leaves with the mixture of stiffener and fabric glue and let them dry.
  • Cut two pieces of the chain to your desired length for the earrings.
  • Attach the crystal beads onto a head pin and secure onto the chain.
  • Stitch the leaves together in a butterfly wing pattern.
  • Fix the assembled leaves to the chain.
  • Add beads to a head pin and attach it to the top of the leaf assembly.
  • Use a jump ring to attach an earring hook.

Finishing:

  • Make sure to secure all knots and trim any excess threads.
  • Create another earring to match the first one following the same steps.
