  • Bernat Softee Chunky yarn in a solid shade
  • Bernat Softee Chunky Twist yarn for a twisted color effect


  • Approx 20″ [51 cm] square.


  • Alt = Alternate
  • Approx = Approximately
  • Beg = Beginning
  • Ch = Chain(s)
  • Dtr = Double treble crochet
  • (Yoh) 3 times and draw up a loop in the next stitch. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) 4 times.
  • Pat = Pattern
  • PM = Place marker
  • Rem = Remain(ing)(s)
  • Rep = Repeat
  • RS = Right side
  • Sc = Single crochet
  • Sl st = Slip stitch
  • St(s) = Stitch(es)
  • WS = Wrong side
  • Yoh = Yarn over hook


  • 1. With A, chain (ch) 40.
  • 2. Proceed in Bobble Pattern (refer to the chart on page 3) as follows:
  • 3. 1st row: (Wrong Side (WS))
  • 4. 1 single crochet (sc) in the 2nd ch from the hook.
  • 5. 1 single crochet in each chain to the end of the chain.
  • 6. Turn (39 sts)
  • 7. 2nd row and onward: Follow the given pattern until the 39th row for the Front.


  • 1. (Make 2). Start with Ribbing:
  • 2. With B, ch 6.
  • 3. 1st row: 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook.
  • 4. 1 SC in each chain to the end of the chain.
  • 5. Replicate the last row until the work from the beginning (when slightly stretched) measures 20″ [51 cm]. Do not fasten off.
  • 6. To proceed, follow the given pattern until work from the marker measures 12″ [30.5 cm].

Finishing and Joining Front and Back:

  • 1. Overlap the Back pieces to match the Front.
  • 2. Ensure ribbing sections are in the center to create an opening to insert a pillow form.
  • 3. With the Right Side (RS) facing, join B with a slip stitch to any corner stitch of the Pillow and work a single crochet evenly around the four sides of the Pillow.
  • 4. Make sure to work 3 single crochets in each corner then fasten off.
  • 5. Insert pillow form to finish.
