Merbaby Rattle

Merbaby Rattle

This merbaby rattle doll will keep your baby entertained with her rattling sound. Plus, she comes with a story! The sweet merbaby has fluffy pink hair and sparkly gold accents. When you push the button on her tummy, she will make a sound just like ocean waves! Okay first off, this little merbaby rattle doll is the cutest. She’s perfect for all ages, and her soft rattle will keep little ones engaged while they listen to the story of how she made it up to land! Look how soft she is! But it gets better, she is also perfect for bathtime fun and comes with her own story book that is so cute.

Materials:

  • Hook size D – 3.25mm
  • Worsted weight yarns in the colors of your choice. I used yarns on the thinner side, due to the size of the hook, so a 3 might be best, but 4 would work too.

Used here:

  • Tail – Fairy Tale Knits hand-dyed yarn, Triton colorway (her variegated yarns are absolutely perfect for mermaid tails!) – approximately 12 yrds
  • Skin – Vanna’s Choice, Beige – approximately 15 yards
  • Hair – Red Heart Soft, Coral – approximately 35 yards
  • Small amounts of worsted weight yarn in black for the eyes.
  • 1.5-inch rattle insert (their smaller-sized rattle would also work, just use extra stuffing!)
  • A small amount of polyester fiberfill for stuffing
  • Tapestry needle
