 Materials Needed:

  • Pink and green yarn (specific type mentioned in the ADD shop link in the video description)
  • Crochet hook
  • Craft wire
  • Glue
  • Filling material for the flower bee

Zenia Flower Pattern:

1 Save

Flower Part (Two Layers):

  • Start with a Double Circle (or Magic Ring):
  • Chain (CH) 1 (does not count as a stitch)
  • Do 9 single crochets (SC) inside the ring
  • Pull tight and close with a slip stitch (SL ST)

First Layer Petals (Round 2):

  • CH 1 (does not count as a stitch)
  • Work in front loops only:
  • Do 1 SC, then CH 8
  • Find second stitch from the hook, do 1 SC in each space up to 8 SC
  • Close with a peod (tight) SL ST
  • Repeat for a total of 9 petals, then SL ST to close round

Second Layer Petals (Attach Craft Wire):

  • Follow the pattern like the first layer but with craft wire for support
  • Petals have increased height with different stitches including SC, half-double crochet (HDC), and double crochet (DC) increases.
  • A total of 9 petals, end with an SL ST

Cut off craft wire after completing the second layer.

Flower Heart:

2 Save

Start with a Double Circle/Magic Ring:

  • CH 1, do 6 SC in the ring
  • Increase to 12 SC in the next round
  • Continue with 12 SC for 3 rounds, working in front loops only in the last round

Petal Round:

  • Connect with a SL ST, CH 1
  • In current space: 1 SC, then 3 CH, followed by an SL ST
  • Repeat around to form petals
  • Small Flowers (For the B part):

Start with Double Circle:

  • CH 3, then do 2 triple crochet (TRC), CH 3, and SL ST in the circle
  • Repeat to make a total of 5 petals

Green Part (Leaf):

3 Save

Start with a Double Circle:

  • CH 1, 5 SC in the circle
  • Increase to 10 SC in the next round
  • Work 10 SC in each round up to round 9
  • Round 10: Create petals with CH, DC, and SL ST patterns

Leaf Pattern:

  • Chain 20, start in the second stitch from the hook:
  • 1 SC, followed by a gradual increase in stitch height up to 8 DC
  • Add 4 HDC, 3 SC, then 1 SC, CH 1, and 1 SC in the last stitch
  • Work the mirror pattern on the other side, finish off with a SL ST

4 Save

Assembly:

  • Assemble the flower by attaching the crafted parts together, including the flower heart, petals, and bee parts.
  • Utilize craft wire, filling, and glue as needed to secure and shape the flower components.
