  • Light and Dark Pink Yarn (60% Cotton, 40% Acrylic)
  • 3 mm Crochet Hook
  • Scissors
  • Darning Needle
  • Stitch Marker
  • Safety Eyes (5 mm)
  • Embroidery Yarn (for details)
  • Stuffing

Body:

Save

Start with Light Pink Yarn:

  • Make a magic circle.
  • Round 1: 6 single crochet (sc) in the circle. Close circle.

Increase Rounds:

  • Round 2: Make an increase in each stitch around (total 12 stitches).
  • Round 3: 1 sc in the first stitch, increase in the next, repeat ** around (total 18 stitches).
  • Rounds 4-5: 1 sc in each stitch around (stitch count remains 18).

Save

Shape the Body:

  • Round 6: 1 sc in the next 5 stitches, increase in the 6th, repeat ** around (total 21 stitches).
  • Round 7: Slip stitch in each stitch around. Change to dark pink yarn in the last stitch.

Continue with Dark Pink Yarn:

  • Rounds 8-10: 1 sc in each stitch around with dark pink yarn (stitch count remains 21 for each round). Cut off light pink yarn and secure ends.
  • Insert safety eyes between Rounds 5 and 6, leaving two holes between the eyes when stretched.

Begin Decreasing:

  • Round 11: 1 sc in the first stitch, decrease over the next two stitches (invisible decrease), repeat ** around (total 14 stitches).

Start stuffing Piglet.
