Crochet Pattern for the Christmas Tree Plush:

Body

  • Start with a slip knot, chain 2.
  • In the second chain from hook: 6 single crochets (sc).
  • To increase: 2 sc in the same stitch.
  • Continue as per pattern: 1 sc, 1 increase repeat 3 times.
  • Continue increasing rounds by adding an additional sc between increases (e.g., 2 sc, 1 increase, 3 sc, 1 increase, etc., in increments of one sc in each consecutive round) until you reach 3 sc, increase, 3 sc.
  • Create the first tier of branches by skipping 6 stitches and then working singles and increases. Mirror the pattern on the opposite side.
  • Continue increasing for the body, and then work on the second set of branches.

Save

  • After you're done with the branches, work on rounds with uniform increases to shape the tree.

Eyes & Closing the Body

  • Insert safety eyes between rounds 10 and 11.
  • Continue increases and then start a decrease by slip stitching across the bottom, closing it up after it's stuffed properly.

Branch Openings

  • Pinch the openings at the end of branches and slip stitch them closed.

Star

  • Make a new slip knot, chain 2, and work 5 sc into the second chain.
  • Make points of the star by chaining 1, double crochet in the next stitch, chain 1, and slip stitch in the same stitch. Repeat four more times to create a total of five points.
  • Sew the star to the top of the tree.

Feet

  • Start with a slip knot and chain 2.
  • Work 6 sc into the second chain from the hook.
  • Increase each stitch for a total of 12.
  • Sc around for a few rounds and perform invisible decreases, followed by more sc.
  • Stuff the legs, then sew them to the underside of the tree.

Garland & Face

  • Add the garland by tying and winding it along the tree as desired.
  • Sew or glue on a mouth using embroidery thread or felt.

Finishing

  • Weave in any loose ends after securing the garland and facial features. Your Christmas Tree Plush is now complete.
