  • Round 9: Start with two sc, then boblet, single crochet four repeat around.
  • Rounds 10 and 11: Single crochet around (40 sc).

Color Change:

Before completing the last stitch of round 11, change to the second color and work in the back loops only, performing 40 slip stitches.

  • Rounds 12 to 14: Continue with single crochets around (40 sc) in both rounds.
  • Round 15: Boblet, single crochet four repeat around.
  • Round 16: Single crochet around (40 sc).

  • Stuff with fiber fill.
  • Continue with sc and decrease rounds, using boblet stitches for texture, while occasionally stuffing until the body is almost closed.

Mouth:

4

With the black yarn, make a magic ring with 8 sc.

  • Close the ring, leave a long tail for sewing, and attach the mouth to the front of the body.
  • Using the main color, create a border around the black mouth area with single crochets.

Fins:

  • For each fin, start with a magic ring, gradually increase using single crochets until they are the right size, then form the fin shape by folding and stitching through both edges with single crochets.
  • Create 4 fins: 2 side fins, 1 back fin, and 1 bottom fin.
  • Sew the fins onto the body at corresponding levels and angles, ensuring they're evenly placed and secure.
