Row 1:
- Half double crochet (HDC) into the second chain from the hook and in every chain across. (End with an odd number of HDCs).
Row 2:
- Turn your work. Start with a stacked single crochet to create a double crochet (DC).
- DC in the next stitch.
- Repeat: Chain 1, skip 1 stitch, DC into the next stitch. Repeat all the way down.
- End with two DCs at the end.
Row 3:
- Chain 1, turn your work.
- Half double crochet into every stitch and chain space across.

Assembly:
