In the glowing warmth of summer, tops are not just clothing but a piece of ease and joy. Among these, the Crochet Blossom Top is a treasure of artistry. It has small flower shapes at the centre, then changes to square shapes for the main part. The crochet beach wear is a gentle pink color, with bright white edges and flowers. It also has thin straps with a tie at the back, for a good fit that looks and feels good. Made of cotton, it's a light choice for hot weather and is both classic and trendy. Making Your Crochet Blossom Top

Materials:

  • Measuring tape
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors
  • Stitch markers
  • E size or 3.5-millimeter crochet hook
  • 7 - 8 ounces (depending on your size) of any DK-weight yarn

Step by step Pattern

Steps:

  1. Begin by making a flower square:
    • Begin with a slip knot and chain four, then join with a slip stitch in the first chain to form a ring.
    • Chain one, work six single crochet into the center of the ring.
    • Join with a slip stitch to your first single crochet, then chain one.
    • Put two single crochets in that same stitch and then two single crochets in each stitch around, which will give a total of 12 single crochets.
  2. Continue with the petal:
    • Grab your petal color yarn.
    • Chain four and then two double triple in this same stitch.
    • Continue to repeat that all the way around, which will give you 12 petals.
  3. Once you've made the way all the way around:
    • Finish off your round with a slip stitch on top of the beginning chain three.
    • Cut your yarn, and there you have one completed square.
  4. Next, make a simple triangle:
    • Measure from the bottom of your breast to the center of your breast or the center of your nipple and take that measurement because that is how many chains we are going to make.
    • Single crochet in the second chain from the hook and in each stitch across.
    • When you reach your last chain put three single crochet in that space.
    • Single crochet in each stitch along the other side.
    • Repeat these steps until you reach your desired size triangle.
  5. Assemble the top:
    • Decide where you would like to place your triangles and mark these.
    • Whip stitch the triangles in place.
  6. Add border and straps:
    • Switch to white color for your border, and attach it in the corner on the right-hand side.
    • Chain one, one single crochet in each stitch across.
    • When you reach the top of the triangle, you will chain about 65 chains.
    • Single crochet in the second chain from the hook and in each stitch across back down to the top of your triangle.
  7. Make your strap:
    • Chain at least 200 and single crochet in the second chain from the hook and each stitch back across.

Other tips:

  • It's also important to test it over your chest as you go to make sure you like the fit.
  • Tag and loop your yarn during the process to make it easy for the assembly stage.
  • Don't forget to make a knot at the end of each strap side to prevent it from sliding out of the loop when you open it up to put it on.
